The noise from the road is unbearable at night!!! Parking is a hassle, especially when you're left circling the block for a spot. The WiFi could use a complete overhaul!!!

stayed at eskdale for one night. the staff were friendly and made checking in a breeze. my double room was excellent, with plenty of hot water and a lovely bath. Dinner was exceptional. i had haggis and pork, both generous and delicious. the location is convenient, right in the heart of town, opposite the town hall.

During my recent stay, I loved being only a few steps away from the Clan Armstrong Trust Museum and a pleasant 500 meters walk to admire local art at Julie Dumbarton’s gallery, which made my city strolls even more enjoyable, providing a great mix of history and creativity right at my fingertips.

I had a lovely evening meal and cocktails during my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. It was nice to find tea, coffee, and biscuits in my room. I appreciated the information about the area provided by the staff.

Access and parking were a bit tricky for me.
